IFELODUN LOCAL GOVERNMENT, OSUN STATE …A major political development has been recorded in Ifelodun Local Government as Olawoyin Simiat, APC Assistant Secretary in Ward 05, alongside the APC ORM Women Leader and Adesina Kazeem, popularly known as Baba Ododo, APC Assistant Organising Secretary in Ward 05, have reportedly defected from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Accord Party.
The defectors were formally received into the Accord Party today at the Ward 05 meeting ground in Ifelodun Local Government, where the Ward Chairman, Hon. Oguntade Adewale, joined other party leaders and members to welcome them into the party.
The reception was described as warm and welcoming, with Accord Party leaders and members expressing happiness over the development and embracing the new members with a strong show of unity.
The development is expected to further generate political discussions within Ifelodun Local Government, particularly in Ward 05, as political parties continue to strengthen their grassroots structures ahead of future political activities.
