Ramadan Day 13 – Truthfulness (Sidq)

By Nimotallahi Lola Ibraheem from PRESSHUB MEDIA AGENCY

🌿 Ayah

“O you who believe, fear Allah and be with those who are truthful.”

— Surah At-Tawbah (9:119)

🌿 Hadith

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise. A man continues to speak the truth until he is recorded with Allah as truthful. And lying leads to wickedness, and wickedness leads to the Fire…”

— Sahih Bukhari & Muslim

Truthfulness is not just about words. It is about being real with Allah.

🤍 Heart Issue: Small Dishonesty

Sometimes it looks like:

• Exaggerating stories.

• Hiding mistakes to protect ego.

• Pretending to be spiritually stronger than you are.

• Saying “I’m fine” when you’re not, even to yourself.

The most important honesty is honesty with Allah.

He already knows. He just wants sincerity.

✨ Today’s Action

• Admit one weakness to Allah in sujood.

• Correct one small lie or exaggeration.

• Speak truth gently, even if it is uncomfortable.

Choose integrity over image.

📝 Reflection

Am I the same person in private that I claim to be in public?

No performance. Just honesty.

🤲 Dua

Ya Allah, make me among the truthful. Clean my heart from deception and hypocrisy. Let my words and actions reflect sincerity. Aameen.
