Life keeps teaching us lessons.
Sometimes, we lose people we love, whether or not they ever knew how much they meant to us.
We miss them. Often.
But one thing I have come to understand lately is this: What is meant for you will never miss you, and what misses you was never meant for you.
This truth has helped me trust my Lord more deeply.
I rely solely on Him, pouring out my pain in His presence.Because honestly, if not Him, then who?
We have watched people we loved slip away from our arms. Some into distance. Some into silence. And some into the cold grip of death.
And we could not stop it from happening.
We loved them sincerely. But we love the Hereafter more.
Because this world is only temporary. And preparing sincerely for the Hereafter is a sacrifice that is always worth it.
So I am learning to let go with strength. And to embrace peace with trust.
