BREAKING: Ifelodun Youth Groups Reject NYCN Congress, Allege Constitutional Breaches

There is fresh controversy surrounding the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Congress in Ifelodun Local Government, as several recognized youth organizations have rejected the outcome of the exercise.
In a petition addressed to the National Leadership of the NYCN, the youth groups alleged that constitutional procedures were not followed during the congress.
Among their concerns, they claimed that several groups allowed to participate in the voting process were not recognized or affiliated with the NYCN at the Local Government level, while some recognized organizations were denied the opportunity to vote.
The petition also alleged that objections raised before and during the congress regarding the constitutional age qualification of one of the aspirants, Comrade Olaleye Kehinde, were not determined before the exercise continued.
The petitioners have called on the National Leadership of the NYCN to investigate the allegations, nullify the congress if constitutional violations are established, and order a fresh exercise.
