The political atmosphere in Osun State is gradually heating up as Oseni Ige Olaitan, a vibrant and grassroots-oriented politician, declares his readiness to contest for a seat in the Osun State House of Assembly under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Speaking in an exclusive interview with one of our correspondents today, Oseni Ige Olaitan disclosed that his ambition is driven by the desire to bring purposeful representation, youth inclusion, and community-driven development to his constituency.
According to him, “The time has come for the people to experience a new kind of leadership — one that listens, acts, and delivers. My mission is to be the voice of the people at the State Assembly and ensure that governance truly reflects the needs of the grassroots.”
He further stated that his choice of ADC was influenced by the party’s progressive ideology, people-centered philosophy, and commitment to transparency and fairness. “ADC represents the kind of politics that prioritizes the people above personal interest, and that aligns perfectly with my vision,” he added.
Oseni emphasized that his political journey will focus on empowering youth, supporting education, promoting agriculture, and strengthening local governance in Osun State. He assured his supporters that his campaign will be issue-based, peaceful, and guided by integrity and service.
As consultations continue across various wards and communities, residents have expressed optimism that Oseni Ige Olaitan’s entrance into the race will bring fresh energy and credibility to the Osun political scene.
