Dr Mulikat Abiola Jimoh has urged Nigerians not to participate in the planned protest to demand immediate change and progress from the government. She instead called on Nigerians to give President Tinubu time to address the challenges currently facing our nation.
Dr Mulikat argued that street protests may cause more harm than good and could undermine the efforts of the government in tackling the issues. She noted that the progress of a nation can not be achieved overnight, and urged Nigerians to be patient and allow the government to implement the necessary policies and interventions towards the growth and development of the country.
Furthermore, she emphasized the need for Nigerians to continue to support the current administration in its quest to tackle the challenges of hunger, unemployment, insecurity, and economic instability. He urged Nigerians to remain resolute and patriotic, stating that only through unity and collective effort can we achieve a better future.
In conclusion, Dr Mulikat acknowledged the challenges currently facing Nigerians, but has called for calm and dialogue, rather than protests. He expressed optimism that President Tinubu and his team would take proactive measures towards the development of the country and assured Nigerians that the government is fully committed to creating a better and more prosperous Nigeria.
