Police capture eight suspects over killing of officials in Delta State
The Nigerian Police has captured eight people regarding the killing of six of faculty were on a mission in Ughelli, Delta State on 23 and 26 February.
The Power Representative, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, revealed this in an explanation on Saturday.
He said after serious examination, the police previously secured five suspects and later captured three others regarding the ambushing and possible killing of the personnel.He said the main arrangement of suspects were captured at various areas and that they later uncovered the areas of the others.Mr Adejobi said the suspects were captured following an intensive examination completed by the police.
He said the suspects are as of now in police care while the examination is continuous.
Me Adejobi said they would be charged to court after examination.
“The Nigeria Police is profoundly disheartened by the intolerable demonstration of brutality against our officials who were perseveringly playing out their obligation to safeguard and serve the local area.
