The Police Order in Kwara State on Thursday in Ilorin affirmed the killing of a customary ruler in the state, Peter Aremu, the Onikoro of Koro-Ekiti in the Ekiti Nearby Government Region in the state.
Ejire Adeyemi-Tohun, the Advertising Official (Genius) for the police order, affirmed this in a meeting with the News Organization of Nigeria (NAN) late Thursday in Ilorin.
Ms Adeyemi-Tohun, a central director of police, added that the lord’s attackers likewise seized his better half.
“The shooters attacked the home of the customary ruler at night and killed him and disappeared with his significant other,” the Police Expert said.
The police representative said some police workforce, driven by the Divisional Cop (DPO) in Koro-Ekiti, was at that point at the castle of the late conventional ruler.
“They have started examinations concerning the whereabouts of the executioners, as well as the abductors of the late ruler’s better half,” she said.
