The Police Administration Commission (PSC) has supported the arrangement and sending of 10 Chiefs of Police (CPs) to different orders in the country.
Head of Press and Advertising at PSC, Ikechukwu Ani, expressed this in a proclamation on Wednesday in Abuja.
The recently named CPs incorporate Peter Opara, Osun; Olughemiga Adesina, Benue; Akinwale Adeniran, Ekiti; Mohammed Abba, Adamawa; Beneath Igwe, FCT, and Abaniwonda Olufemi, Delta.
Others are Ademola Ayilara, Akwa Ibom; David Iloyanomon, Taraba; Abayomi Peter, Ondo State, and Hassan Yabnet, Level.
Mr. Ani said the arrangement and organization followed the advancement of 14 delegate chiefs of police (DCPs) to the position of CP.
He said the PSC Administrator, Solomon Arase, had approached the recently sent CPs to modify public confidence in the police through a powerful association.
Mr. Arase cautioned that the commission wouldn’t acknowledge any reason for disappointment in conveying compelling administration.
He promised the responsibility of the commission to keep on empowering the CPs but cautioned that the security of lives and properties in their areas of ward ought not be underestimated.
